Mediation and Settling Cases

As skilled trial lawyers, we know that every case should be settled if it can be settled reasonably. For that reason we work with you to resolve your case for the best result at the least cost. We frequently use a mediator in order to assist our clients in obtaining a reasonable accommodation with their spouse. In fact, some courts now require mediation before a case can go to trial. Cherokee County is one of those courts which has "mandatory" mediation in every case.

Being experienced in resolving cases is as important in being a trial lawyer. Knowing what is equitable for a division of property, child support, child custody and dividing pensions and the like is crucial to our clients. Diane Marger Moore and the attorneys of the firm have mediated cases for more than twenty years, reaching agreement and saving our clients thousands of dollars in wasted legal expense. While not every case can be settled, and it is always essential to have a skilled trial lawyer able to try your case if it does not settled, we encourage every client to attempt to resolve their case before trial.
